I've had the car prepped for listening to Behemoth "the Satanist", Akercocke "the Goat of Mendes", Slayer "Repentless" and Evil Scarecrow for weeks. I might have to add in my Divine Chaos, Beholder and Anthrax CD's.
What is everyone else listening to?

I'll probably just be lazy and use the Spotify playlist.

Re: Playlist for the drive to Catton Hall
Not trusting my MP3 player to last the entirety of the driving, I need to put together some CDs.
The way home is usually "Stuff Slev picked up at BOA". Last year, my passengers enjoyed The Mighty Wraith, Liked Endevour "except for the growly vocalist"*, and where utterly confused by Diatessaron

My usual 70s and 80s pop and rock playlists, because what's the point in having a road trip playlist if you can't have a jolly good singalong?

Probably some twazzock talking on his mobile phone and "This train is for Stafford", "Please take all your belongings with you" and "Unattended packages will be destroyed".

Re: Playlist for the drive to Catton Hall
This year's drive theme is covers but I'm way behind even getting the tracks together let alone mixing it as one of the kiddies has been in hospital for the last 3 weeks. Should get some progress on it this week.

Got a mix of everything from Slayer to Alabama3 to Scooter. The sheer randomness makes the 6 hour bus journey more fun - musical Russian roulette!

Re: Playlist for the drive to Catton Hall
I have made two playlists on spotify one for main stage one for second stage of the bands I am interested in seeing. (I listened to a few songs of every band before narrowing down to these)

Re: Playlist for the drive to Catton Hall
I'll put on 'For All Kings' as soon as I switch the engine on and beyond that I'll decide on the spur of the moment from a selection of CDs which goes something like this: Countless Skies - New Dawn, Death Angel - The Evil Divide, Hell - Human Remains, Delain - We Are The Others, Paradise Lost - Draconian Times, Ne Obliviscaris - Portal Of I and Mothers Finest - Black Radio Won't Play This Record. I also have a rule that for any long journey my car must contain at least 1 Amon Amarth CD; I'm currently torn between Jomsviking and Twilight Of The Thunder God.
