It's gonna be ace having so many more ales for us peasants in standard camping to enjoy. Got a feeling I'm gonna be spending a lot more money in the arena this year! :D

The way unexpected bills are piling up just now I will be reduced to a couple of large bottles of White Ace or Frosty Jacks cider for BOA!

Fingers crossed there's mead at the VIP bar again. Bonus points if it's in the arena too!

I bought it some corner shop, I only got it because it was like £2 for a bottle and I was doing the fest on a budget.

7.5% is alright for getting a buzz like! I can imagine drinking it before I acquired taste. Now I'd just go sober if I couldn't buy the booze I liked.

It was awwwful. This was 2005 mind, so I would have been 18 and no real "taste" in alcohol yet. And I still couldn't finish the bottle and spent the festival getting high instead.

i vaguely remember when i was 15 drinking a whole bottle of frosty jacks and then spewing it all up again, vile stuff. i suppose it could be useful as some kind of bulking filler if you only had a couple of nice bottles but still wanted to get blitzed.

So long as there's Cider there to help me keep my buzz while in the arena, I'm happy.

The real selection will be back at camp. Looking forward to getting some of that Citrus Cider and that Strange Fruit Strongbow again.

White Lightning was the 8.4% stuff they used to sell in Kwik Save.

49p for a three litre bottle. Well cheaper than it says in this Wiki article which is probably London prices.
