Myrath?

Postby i0th » Sat Jul 30, 2016 10:03 pm

Gone from the lineup page, band profile page gone and if you go to another band's profile they're not in the list of other acts. Anyone know what's happened?

It's very odd. No word of them pulling out on Facebook or Twitter but Facebook there was a link a week ago to an interview about them playing.

Really looking forward to seeing them even if it is likely at least part of their set will clash but it doesn't look good from everything you've said above.

Bloodstock is still listed as their next gig on their own website.

The date's still on their FB page too and they're still on the poster that Bloodstock tweeted a picture of this morning, but they may not bother updating it just for 1 band missing from the second stage.

Not even a week ago. Posted on the 26th July.

Guess that confirms it then, disappointing. Wonder if we'll get a replacement.

I wish they would actually confirm things rather than concentrating on meaningless posts on Facebook and competitions. It's not the first time a band has disappeared for whatever reason and all we get is a wall of silence.

Indeed, don't need to go into details, just an acknowledgement that a band isn't going to be playing anymore would be nice regardless of who's decision it was. Ther'es now been two News posts since the band dropped off the line-up, could easisly have just tagged another paragraph on the end saying they're not playing any more.

[EDIT] Also it's quite late in the day for getting a replacement, could be seeing a lower band added on and everyone else sliding up a position on the Sophie stage.

For what it's worth, a couple of people have asked the band on FB over the past few days and been meeting with deafening silence.

It's quite possible it's just a day change and they are working things out with the organisers. If that's the case, no set times until it gets sorted...

Why would Bloodstock delete all mention of them from the website if it was just a day change?
