Yeah. Unfortunately.

Which means that there is nothing to watch if you don't like the headliners.

Great for me, the only headliner across both stages I don't want to see is Slayer, so will just be in the bar for them.

Slayer are one of about five bands that I'm actually bothered about.

However it's the Saturday where my problems lie. Apart from Acid Reign there is nothing worth watching after about 6.30 and that depends on what Paradise Lost turns up. They can be very hit or miss.

Saturday is poor for me and will involve a lot of campsite/VIP bar time. I will wander round the new blood and Jager stages but the main band for me on Sat are Acid Reign

Bah. Double post.

It's a bit wooden.

It's the final of the Hobologist competition, whomever pours the most points in a minute wins.

It's a bit crap really, having headliners for the Sophie worked well before, now each headliner is going to be overcrowded and the main stage ends stupidly early. Maybe after Twisted Sister people just wanted to have a few beers and dance in the party tent, not have to watch the arthritic pub rock granddads that are Diamond Head.

I'm in favour of both the Sophie headliner being later (though I would like bands on til 2 am) and their being a RJD headliner alternative even though I would've hated having to miss Beyond the Black for Twisted Sister. Remember we spent years where if you didn't like the main stage headliner your day finished stupidly early. The key is having RJD headliner & Sophie SG two very different sounding bands so there's less likely to be complaint about the clash. I suppose that's why their trying the guest DJ slots this year, if the headliner isn't for you there isn't nothing else going on.

Works out well for me as I'd like to see the RJD and Sophie headliners each night. Particularly pleased that I can see Twisted Sister and Diamond Head. You can't please everyone I suppose but I guess they'll see how the experiment goes. The intention is to give people the opportunity to see more bands which I don't think is neccesarily a bad thing.
