But aren’t you looking forward to Parkway Drives headline set at BOA?

Think I'll enjoy Deicide too much to care.

75% of bands announced. Probably not likely at this point, but Archgoat, Sunn o))), Candlemass and King Diamond would be my picks.

If they have ambient acts in the tent again Draugurinn would be immense.

Great traste, I'd be happy with all 4 of them too.

I have never. ever. understood Sun O))). They've always sounded like a long, drawn out fart to me.

Great looking lineup, shame it's not in the UK. Too much travelling for an old git family man like myself.

One of my favourite bands - my backpatch is a Sunn O))) one whilst I have NEVER understood Ghost. But hey, at least they're both metal bands.

Yeah travelling is a pain, but the thing is everything is so crazy cheap once you're there it doesn't cost much more overall for me than BOA.

So, any ideas on the easiest way from Prague City Centre to Brutal Assault?

There's a train you can get from Prague to Jaromer, then you just walk as far as I can see.

Yeah, it's like £6 for the train, and if I remember rightly, takes around 2 hours followed by a 20 minute walk.

Regarding Sunn O)))

I couldn't get into them on record. But saw them in a tiny venue which held about 100 people and it worked.

tbh with Sunn o))) it probably helps if you are already into minimalist music like ambient and drone. I didn't get them first time I heard them, but going back to them a while later I loved it.

How long ago was that, as they play pretty big places now. I know my friend said he saw them with Boris at the underworld and it wasn't that packed but would've been over a decade ago I think. Seen them at Royal Festival Hall, the Barbican, and headlining one of the Hellfest stages. Can't remember the name of the venue they played in Manchester but was pretty big. Now they've got a new album out it would be a great time to see them again.

Yeah get the train, it's very easy, takes about 2 hours and goes directly to the festival. It's one of those european trains with separate passenger compartments, like the train the guys take in Hostel, or the hogwarts express...great for getting drunk on with random people on the way to the fest.

Longer ago than I thought it was. February 13th 2006 at Roadkill in Liverpool. A short lived venue that is now a winebar or eatery.

Funnily enough I've just had a look at who else played there and this come up.
