I forgot all about it and they'd gone when I finally remembered around 2pm.

Oh well, I'll just try again tomorrow.

Got Nottingham ticket. £80 total, which hurt, but it was the right thing to do!

I'm out , after seeing Priest headline Bloodstock forking out 100 quid for a 1 hour support slot isn't happening. I'll go and watch UFO headline there own headline tour twice for half the price and distance to travel .

I picked my ticket up in the first few minutes as I didn't want to miss out. However, it doesn't appear to be selling particularly well, there are lots of seats left and some places still had standing tickets left yesterday!

I've seen Priest and Sabbath a fair bit, but I've never seen Ozzy solo so I was willing to pay just to see what he's like. Looks like the price put others off though.

Thread tl;dr:

Heavy metal legends touring big venues. Some people think it's bad value for money. Other people buy tickets. Some people shouting at those who think it's bad value for money "BECAUSE LEGENDS".

I fall into the "bad value for money" category. Hurl abuse at me for not wanting to pay that much to see Priest, please.
If it sounds good, listen to it

# don't be jelouse , beotch. I can go vip why . Cause iam on a good high paied job . I work hard for my money n guess what iam gonna spend it on two heavy metal legends. If u n others don't want to fair enough. But seriously your missing out on the must see metal event in ages.
Kinda makes me wounder how true and committed you are to metal.

N dude u ever heard of poetic licence. WITH AN E lol I pity the fool.
Oh n if u dont like my comments then don't use my spelling or grammar mistakes as a weapon u need to come up with better material thats flipping old.

Any way Ozzy N Priest together is worth the money at 90. Heck 200 for v.i.p is worth it to me. If u don't wanna go then don't go n would u please shut the hell up.

Well if no wants to go how come its pretty much sold out at almost all venues

Well if negative people like u arnt going at least it will have a good atmosphere.

What would you spend your money on out of interest then ??.

Oh it's not jealousy! I can afford it, there are just things I'd rather spend the money on. I saw both in the late 80's and chose to savor those memories instead. There are other bands I'd rather support than line the pockets of faded rock stars.

Enjoy the gig anyway.

To be fair, now she's lost the X-Factor gig Ozzy probably needs the cash for her next round of surgery.

The 'must see metal event in ages' is subjective surely? A headliner whose voice is shot and a special guest with a legendary twin guitar double act...who aren't in the band any more. It would have been the must see metal event of 1985 but not 2018. For the same money I can watch 4 different gigs in smaller venues, featuring up and coming new acts with fire in their bellies doing something fresh and exciting. All the classic 'must see' gigs have been when bands were in their prime.
