Give us a UK date Hansi and Jon. I'd like to see Demons & Wizards but not prepared to go abroad, especially when travel to Europe may be precarious after the end of March.

Unless I'm missing something, I really don't see how travelling to Europe is going to be any different except for having to pay a small fee for a visa (currently estimated to be around £6) and to ensure that there is at least 6 months left on your passport from the date of arrival. Oh, and not being guaranteed charge-free roaming on your mobile which has only been in place since June 2017 anyway. Doesn't sound like much of a hassle to me.

As much as I despair when leave supporters believe the fantasy wonderland, "everything will be great" nonsense peddled by shitrags like the Daily Mail, I equally despair when remain supporters go into panic mode based on nothing but hearsay and the occasional Guardian opinion piece.

Thread title needs changing so people know.

I wonder if they are really that well known here to fill that venue. My dying bride couldn't fill it and they barely play the UK. 33 quid is a lot too. Saying that I'll be there.

Depends on whether we get a deal or not, a 'no deal' scenario could cause huge disruption to travel. But I'm convinced Article 50 will be extended anyway.

Putting aside politics, I'm very tempted by this. I'm fairly confident they can fill the O2 at Islington, it only holds around 800. Will have to go back and listen to their albums again!

It's the assembly hall so much bigger than the o2 if I remember correctly.

What!

Since it's a Sunday the hotels aren't too bad. Booked the Islington Premier Inn for £69.

Physically bigger, yes. But in terms of licenced capacity for live music, they both have a limit of 800.

Thanks. I will probably go but £33 is far too expensive for this band in this venue. It just about works out for me to go. One day later and I probably wouldn't be able to make it as I'm away for work for a couple of days during the week. Will wait until I get paid before buying a ticket.
