Amon Amarth Tour

Postby bloodofthekings » Thu Jun 13, 2019 7:48 am

not 100% confirmed but reports from Download Festival are that there's 3 Amon Amarth dates with support from Arch Enemy and Hypocrisy:

28th November - O2 Academy Birmingham
29th November - O2 Apollo Manchester
30th November - O2 Academy Brixton

I'll think about it, but I'm not keen on the supports. Last time it was Testament, who are one of my favourite bands, whom I was mainly going to see. Amon Amarth were much better though.

Would've said Brixton was too big for them, but with such big supports it seems fine.

Def gotta go love AA, AE are OK, and I love Hypocrisy.... looks like old Pete is concentrating on them atm, hopefully he'll continue to do that and spend less time on the crappy Pain side project.

Nice, I'll certainly be going along to that.

I actually like Pain, even if the last album was fucking awful.

Got to agree, Grand Magus and Testament were my main reasons for going but AA impressed me on the night.

I didn't get to see GM as the queue was stupidly long for the Roundhouse gig but Testament and AA were both great that night.

I might go but it doesn't excite me so possibly not if something more juicy gets announced.

Desaster/Root/Archgoat/Mork is a much more exciting line up the following night at the underworld.
I see the bad moon arising.

Facebook posts indicate their next album will be their last, so who knows how many more times Hypocrisy will come around. They're the main reason I'd go to this, although I enjoy both AA and AE enough to watch them again.

Anyone have any idea of what the price will be? Around 50 quid?
