Their popularity peaked with the inhuman rampage album , been on a steady downhill slide ever since, barring the odd decent track. Their cover of ring of fire been surprisingly good.

They sold out Corporation in Sheffield on their last tour; that's still a decent draw (its something like 900-1000 cap).

Well it wouldn't be the first time I've been to a Dragonforce gig for the support act and left before DF took the stage.

Already seen 2 headline Dragonforce gigs, both times purely for the support bands. Think I'll be making this my 3rd!

Dragonforce and Lovebites?

You can smell the virginity and Lynx already.

Might as well get yourself a ticket then, you'll fit right in

Jokes aside, has anyone seen Dragonforce with this 'new' singer? Is he any good? I genuinely haven't heard much from since Heroes Of Our Time. Trying to decide whether to bother sticking around for them or not

I've enjoyed them with Mark whenever I've seen them. I really liked the first album they did with him - The Power Within - I thought it had some really good songs on it. However the last album was very disappointing, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the new one.

It's alright, I have no interest in either.

The popularity has fallen, but it hasn't been steadily downhill, they've just plateaued on a lower level. In fact their last London gig was the Ballroom, and this time it's at the Forum which is significantly bigger.

The new-ish singer is decent enough live, but ZP was a better vocalist for me.

The Forum does seem to get bands that looks too big for - Skid Row, Quireboys etc. I've seen bands in there with it being a third full, so presume it doesn't cost much to hire compared to other places.
