Re: Lamb of God / Kreator co-Headline Tour 2020

Although the tour advert suggests a co-headline tour, Manchester Academy's website has it listed as 'Lamb of God plus special guests' and doesn't even mention Kreator which makes me skeptical.

*EDIT* - just seen the ticket price - fuck that. £34.50 plus booking fee for what may or may not be a full headline set from Kreator? Nope.

The trend of good bands supporting utter shite continues...

That comment can be read very diffferently than what was meant.

Just seen the tour poster from Live Nation on Facebook which strongly suggests it is a LOG headline tour with Kreator as main support.

Seems like the dates in mainland Europe are co-headliners but in the UK it's LOG + kreator as support.

Still waiting for that power trip headline tour then. Oh well maybe in 2021.
I see the bad moon arising.

Seems a bit bizarre seeing as Kreator could headline most of those venues on their own and have previously. Maybe they would struggle at Brixton, but Manc/Brum/etc would be easy.

Might bother and leave early. Especially if I can get on the GL.

I agree it's strange that the rest of Europe has it billed as a co-headline tour. I guess Kreator's stock isn't quite as high over here.

I'm still tempted by this one though as Kreator + Power Trip for £35 ish ain't bad in my book.

Take LOG away and I'd be tempted.

I'll be heading to London for this one - three great bands in my book :)

Last time Kreator played in Scotland they played a venue 2.5x smaller than the venue on this tour, granted last time they played Manc it was the same venue as this tour, but there was also only a Manc & London date. Those 3 extra dates instantly reduces the number of people who would travel. Don't get me wrong I'm really looking forward to Kreator on this tour, but they are significantly smaller than LoG over here

Where that argument falls down is Lamb Of Shite only ever play package tours. I doubt they could fill the Dog & Duck on their own.

They also shit themselves and fuck off home when there is a tiny bit of terror threat. Whilst leaving the fans outside the venue. Bunch of chlorinated chickens.

I saw Kreator and Arch Enemy in Brum, 2016 I think, and the Institute was rammed.

O2 in Brum is not good when full as you don't see much due to low floors and pillars. OK for Manowar as only 600 people there so easier to get a view.

Lamb of God are boring, so if I decide to go I could watch Kreator then bugger off rather than wait around getting bored. The worry is whether Kreator get a decent amount of minutes.

There is a trend of good bands supporting shitty bands, but needs must I think for the band to play to new crowds. (I saw Accept supporting Sabaton).

Got my ticket for Glasgow today in the O2 presale.

Not greatly bothered about LoG but the other 2 bands are enough of a draw to get my attendance.
