Would have gone to the Manchester show if it was a weekend but I've already got 2 gigs that week so probably won't bother.

what an awful name for a tour
it worked for roots don't push your luck lads
The albums are bangers but I don't think Max can do them justice anymore; though saying that, temptation to make a run of gigs what with Devin and M.O.D. the following days is there.

If it was the first two albums I would be interested.
Can't be arsed with two albums I thought were poor at the time and haven't really improved with age.

I do like the first 2 albums....but the idea of Max and Igor doing a Morbid Visions/Schizophrenia tour is completely mental.
I love Beneath The Remains, and quite like Arise, but I doubt I'll go to this, Max will no doubt be shitting the songs up and turning them into nu metal/tribal shit.

This is a major factor in me taking a pass on this. As much as it being mid-week in Manchester makes it less attractive than if it were a weekend, I might have gone if I were confident that Max would actually perform the songs properly. It's fine for Soulfly songs to sound like that because if I go see them, then I know what I'm getting. But if I go see this, I want to hear the songs performed how they're meant to be, not sounding like Soulfly covering Sepultura.

I did think those albums were poor. A band which changed from a Blackened/Death Metal band to a piss poor Thrash band.
Bought the first albums and split EP with Overdose on import and have also got the demos from 1984.
Come back at me when you get an education on Heavy Metal please. Because you don't have a clue.

Yeah you tell him gandalf. Stick it to the man! We'll wait until he gets his metal degree from Hull university.
I see the bad moon arising.

Having a heavy metal "education" as you put it means nothing if you don't have taste.
And for the record, I too picked up an import copy of Schizophrenia in the late 80's. Just because you're a grumpy old fuck, doesn't mean you were the only one listening to metal in the 80's.
As I said though... you do make me laugh so carry on.

Clearly none of us will ever be as metal as Gandalf.
