Sacramentum Is the only real draw, but it’s a big draw! Never thought they would get back together!

Is Nuclear assault the first headliner?

It’s a risk putting it on when Knottfest is on too. I wonder if both of those fest been scheduled for august has had an impact on the weak Bloodstock lineup.
Welcome to a brave new world/ The future here or haven't you heard?

Infest, Sacramentum and Nuclear Assault are currently at the top of the poster so I'm not really sure how the headliners are working so far!

Saw on FB that they will do day tickets closer to the time, if Nuclear Assault, Desecration and Wormrot fall on the same day I'll be more than happy.

If the Knotfest line up is anything like the one in France last year, ie Amon Amarth, Behemoth, Powerwolf, Sabaton, Amaranthe, Ministry etc, then I'm sure lots of people going to this would be tempted by Knotfest instead.

This looks OK so far, but nothing more.

Even better, will be able to get on the barrier with no problem if others will be elsewhere

Be a shame to have it fold after the first year though.

Autopsy confirmed as one of the Electric Ballroom headliners. Decrepit Birth also added to the bill.

I'll be keeping a close eye on this festival. It's already looking more appealing than Bloodstock.

How does this work over the different venues, I presume they don't clash?

Bought my early bird ticket after that announcement; Autopsy, Nuclear Assault, and Massacre are all bucket list bands for me. :D Got a feeling Knotfest will consist of a lot of bands I've already seen before and I prefer smaller gigs/venues anywho. Very hyped for this!

They do seem to have aimed very high in terms of the venues and it being a 2 day fest.

Incineration fest sells out now, but it began as a small fest at the Garage and grew steadily, moving up to the Ballroom (and even playing it safe by having a few years at the Dome).

Apart from the likes of Autopsy, there's none of the big crowd pullers that Incineration fest has, hope it succeeds, but with a huge metal on at the same time, and with just an "okay" line up in a big venue over 2 days, things could be tough.

I feel like I am up to date on death metal and I haven't even heard of 8 of the 20 bands announced. Massively relying on the draw of Autopsy and Nuclear Assault there.

I went to Netherland Deathfests 16-18 and 17 had by far the best lineup and from 18 onward it's definitely gone down hill. This is 2 days instead of 3 at NDF and so far it's not really inspiring. Autopsy is my favourite death metal band so I will DEFINITELY be going for at least that day, but it's not really as good as Maryland/Netherland deathfests are so far.
