Re: Sepultura UK /IRE Tour w/Crowbar & Sacred Reich
Nice line up. I'd prefer a north London venue but it's a Friday night.
I have a few rearranged gigs in November already so I'll have to get my schedule sorted to find out whether that's even free now.

Damn...Sacred Reich are wasted on this tour.
I see the bad moon arising.

I really like the most recent Sep album so I'm willing to give them another bash live. I've never actually seen them with Derrick Green.
To be honest, I've never really listened to Crowbar. Are they rubbish then?

They maybe a good band but it's just not my genre. I lump them in with hardcore bands like hatebreed, Pantera etc.
Where as Sacred Reich are one of my favourite bands and should only do headline tours so I can see full sets

I thought they were a sludge band.

I suppose I should just listen to them really

Crowbar are definitely a sludge band as opposed to hardcore/Pantera rip-offs, not a fan though.

Crowbar is an American sludge metal band formed in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1990. Through infusing a slow, low-keyed, brooding doom metal sound with the aggression of hardcore punk, they pioneered a style known as sludge metal
After listening to one of their albums I can hear the hardcore influence. It's OK, probably not my cuppa either tbh.

Aye I know what you mean, the hardcore vibe just aren't prominent enough for me, I like way more straight up hardcore bands than I do sludge ones overall.
