I think the last headliner will be the Dio hologram.

It better fucking not be, but have a horrible feeling you might be right. I can see Vicky saying people would lose their shit to that, but she is thinking good rather than what people would really think of as bad.
Might as well stick a DVD on the big screen if they are going to do that

I liked almost all of the headliners/special guests this year (Arch Enemy aside, and even they are boring rather than bad) but neither of the two booked for next year.

Given some comments I've seen from BOA team members I think we're safe from that abomination.

So we're looking at a band that's big enough to headline Wacken then?
Are Emperor big enough to headline Wacken?

They've headlined it 3 times, most recently this year.

Optimistic. Largely because it's a band I like

CH3NO2 -- It's the only way to be sure

I think the rule is that if a band has any sort of broad popularity, they're by default terrible and unworthy of playing Bloodstock
That's the rule with Metal bands in general - as soon as they're popular Metal fans are not allowed to like them.

Re: Third Headliner Possibilities
So aside from Judas Priest, the main 2 rumours seem to be Devin Townsend and Emperor. Priest I would be happy with, the other 2 definitely not.

At this point I will happily go for any of DTP, Emperor or Judas Priest

I've been told it'll be a band I like but...

That said I've never been to Bloodstock for the headliners, more often its been despite the headliners.
