Great, so they learned absolutely nothing from the shitshow that was last year. Drop off point is still too far away, there's no quick way to the campsite and the entrance is still too small. The only change I can see is Hel is no longer quiet and Ragnarok is.

There also seems to be a separate entrance/exit for the arena with a tent in between. I've never had any problems getting in/out but I guess it will ease congestion if they're expecting more people. What's the safe zone in front of the RJD stage? I'm guessing it's the disabled viewing platform :?

Just spotted Captain Morgan's to the left of the RJD stage too :)

I see there's a "Safe Zone" in front of the sound deck. Was it there last year?

I hope they're more efficient at the entrance this year. I could do without the 2+ hour wait again.

Hard to tell from just that graphic but yea it doesn't look like they've widened the main entrance any. Extra exit from he arena though, not sure why they felt that was needed. I don't remember any problems getting out.

Looks like they are making anyone with a camper van get some exercise.

That just looks like the standard VIP/Disabled camp (and now Campervan) entrance that has been there for a while. It doesn't give access to the normal campsites.

Oh no I'm talking about where it says arena entrance and arena exit only to the standard camps. I'm guessing the tent in between will be for the strongman comp.

There has been an emergency exit there in the past but it wasn't on the maps. Think if its letting people out to the car park quickly its a good idea.

If anything it looks worse. Seems like Valhalla is expanding out into to space where the campers were, so without that gap where people could queue reasonably sensibly the big scrum in front of the gates if just going to stretch even further back.

Looks like its been redirected up through the old drop off area.

Pity Kraken's not back this year, but given how half-arsed they were last time, I'm not surpried.

They just did a Q&A where they confirmed there will be an extra lane on the entrance so hopefully will be a little better than last year but im not sure 1 lane will make a huge difference

From the map, it looks like the distance between camper van field and arena entrance is now about the same as from the main carpark. I'll give it a go and see how the new layout works out, but if it's as bad as it appears, I could see me passing on paying for a camper van pass in future years and just parking in the car park.

It'll make no difference, if anything it's more a token gesture that'll do little. 1 extra lane offers 2(?) additional people to process punters. I'm going to prepare for another crappy start of the festival; I just hope the heatwave dies down by BOA, that 2 hour queue in the heat will be killer.

Yeah and it will also have to contend with them having raised the capacity to 18000 this year
