Nordjevel might play again this year if they were well received enough as BOA have a good habit of putting one NB from the previous year on the Sophie stage on the Thursday.

Personally, discounting Obituary who played this year I'd take Katatonia and Grave out of that, some good bands but ones I've seen (and played BOA) quite alot recently

True, although it could mark the beginning of their festival run for certain bands (hopefully!). Fleshgod Apocalypse and Tsuder are playing Mammothfest this weekend so could be in the mix for next week. Or possible repeats with Ihsahn, Dark Funeral and/or Napalm Death. I'm just praying for Electric Wizard

Raised By Owls are more likely to be bumped up to the Sophie, because they went down ridiculously well and completely rammed the New Blood tent out.

Nordjevel got a bit of a raw deal, cos they're an established and well know band on a sizeable record label, but for some reason they got put on the stage for unsigned bands; they were easily worthy of a Sophie slot, and possibly even an opening slot on the main stage. Would like to see them back on the right stage.

I was just throwing it out there as a possibility, didn't see Nordjevel myself. Personally I hope Vorbid get the Sophie slot

They booked the Priest Feast into Arenas, hoping that Megadeth and Testament would boost but it was a disaster - gigs were cancelled and Manchester was downgraded into the Apollo - from a 20k venue to a 4K one. You have a point about a first reunion tour, but to sell less than half the tickets you did when touring the next album is a bit more than 'a dip' when you're booked to fill a venue with twice as many seats

Oh right, yeah, that does sound pretty bad  Personally had I been able to I would of jumped at that at the time

Think a 4 month festival run that early in the year is a bit of a stretch  although now you mention it I guess they could end one Euro leg in April and start a second in August.

Emperor announced for Party San next summer. Really think they are a possibility as Special Guests. Would pretty much make the festival for me...

Either going to capitalize while the iron is hot or stop all momentum from JP, hopefully the former, they're generally better during the first few announcements.

I dunno, haven't Emperor played in the middle of the day before at Wacken? I think they would accept a special guest slot and they seem well requested as a repeat

Please not Papa Roach. Nothing against them but they are a Download band.

I suspect Body Count may be a possibility for next year.

Papa Roach would go down like a lead balloon at Bloodstock.

Papa Roach are headlining venues like Manchester Apollo on this tour at £35 at ticket (same venue that Judas Priest played on their last UK tour) so there's no way they'd play as a special guest.

You do realise Vicky probably just says stuff like that to wind people up and get a rise out of people? Whilst I personally find it rather childish of her, when you bite and start discussing bands like Papa Roach as if they're a serious consideration all you're doing is encouraging her.
