You're supposed to sit on sofas, not eat them
Compared to some of the dodgy vendors you find, I imagine there is more meat in the sofa than in the food

As long as the meat isn't in the vegetarian food.

Mega moan thread more like. What's the point of this? If people wanna sit down it's up to them. Don't see the point in banning them unless you're scared you'll trip over and smash your Viking horns and spill your mead....

Bloodstock should be allocated seating only.
Welcome to a brave new world/ The future here or haven't you heard?
Re: Camping chairs in the arena megathread
I like to rest my weary old bones on my camping chair, but I do think there should be a perimeter which chairs are not permitted inside.

I wasn't even aware this was an issue, i mean you gotta be pretty shit-faced to be unable to walk around a chair.

You have been to Bloodstock before, haven't you? At least half the crowd are shitfaced before they even get to the site!

Re: Camping chairs in the arena megathread
Tripping isn't the issue as you can't get past the things in the first place.
"Just walk round", you can't as they are putting them in lines without gaps. Then you get past those and meet another row that is the same.
They have booked a band that will almost certainly sell the festival out and will be increasing capacity without increasing the size of the arena, as they can't really. You all ask for bigger bands, who are obviously going to attract more people.
So I'll ask again, where are they going to put them all if half the crowd space is taken up with chairs?

Re: Camping chairs in the arena megathread
I've never had any problem walking around or through the people in chairs to get to the front.
As for the field being busier when the headliners are on, there are far more people in chairs early on it the day and by the time headliners/special guests come on, most of the people in chairs have put them away.

Re: Camping chairs in the arena megathread
I'd say it's the other way around, more chairs around when the headliners are on. Walking back when a headliner is finishing/finished and there are way more chairs to contend with
