Upgraded to a two man version this time, feels like a mansion compared to my one man

Anything smaller than a two man is self-abuse. Do you need to talk?

  • Skiltron
Friday
  • Fahran
  • Kamelot
  • Kamikaze Test Pilots
  • Judas Priest

  • Emperor
  • Feed The Rhino
  • Garshkott
  • Lovebites
  • Sertraline
  • The Heretic Order
  • Turbyne
  • Untamed
  • Wednesday 13

  • Combichrist
  • Orden Ogan
  • Orphaned Land
  • Luke Appleton
  • Septicflesh
  • Venom Inc.
  • Vola
  • Voodoo Sioux
  • Voyager
Sunday
  • Alien Weaponry
  • Amaranthe
  • At The Gates
  • Demonic Ressurection

It wasn't so bad when I was just using a camping mat to sleep on but when I got an airbed it pretty much filled the tent  Luckily my mate bought an extra tent for us to store stuff in the last couple of years!

I appreciate the organisational effort in alphabetising the post but not having them in running order is giving me the shakes.

All in all, not too many painful clashes this year. Here's hoping the sun pulls out of the special guest slot for the entire weekend.

I really hope Voyager/Alestorm is moved tbh but the only one they could swap with (same set length) that would avoid a clash for me is Conjurer, swapping with VOLA or A Forest of Stars would just repeat the problem.

I'm having exactly the same issue. Even though I prefer Alestorm though, I'm leaning towards seeing Voyager as I've never seen them before but have seen Alestorm loads of times. Plus, I'd still catch the last 20 mins of their set which means I'll still see Captain Morgan's Revenge!

Last time I saw Alestorm was Sonisphere 2011 so really want to see them again. Had thought about splitting but Alestorm current setlist opens with Keelhauled which is probably my favourite track so don't want to miss that and then doubt I'll be able to pull myself away once they've started.

Vicky said on Twitter that set times will be announced on the Monday of the festival week.

I politely enquired why, when the details must be with the laminate printers by then, saying giving them even the Friday would give people the weekend to plan.

Shockingly, no reply...

You know why though, the later they release them the more laminates they'll sell.

(I'm not even kidding, the Saturday looks absolutely dire)

You're doing one better than me. I literally only have Orden Ogan that day. I'll give A Forest Of Stars and Septicflesh a go, but neither are really my thing. Orden Ogan are the only band on Saturday that I have any real interest in watching.

Edit: I've just noticed that Aonia are on the unsigned stage on Saturday, so that's two bands.

Just wanted to pop in here to thank the OP for the time they put into the clashfinder this year! Always helps when this festival is notoriously late with the timings!

Without going on a rant about why I now only go to European fests and don’t attend any outdoor ones in the UK ( although I am doing a day of bloodstock this year) this is just another aspect I find really annoying. Brutal Assault, summer breeze, into the grave all coming up announced their time schedules in previous weeks, Graspop, full force, hellfest and wacken always a good month ahead, yet download and bloodstock choose to do it on the week of the festival itself. Just another little gripe in a long list of stuff that bugs me.
