Trolleys come in handy for carrying beer, but I bought myself a good quality rucksack to carry everything but the tent/chair/alcohol. Then you can buy some of these badboys https://www.amazon.co.uk/Climbing-Carab ... =453558031 to attach to said Rucksack and hang things off it. Makes you one giant moving game of buckaroo.

Beware of bringing trolleys if you're coming via Big Green Coach. Depending on the amount of people travelling, and the size of the luggage hold, drivers may refuse to let you take them with you. It's an absolute pain in the arse if you're travelling down on the only BGC coming from Scotland, and have to drag your stuff across two cities to get to the pick up spot.

I got a trolley with fold-able wheels this year, so it's near-enough flat. If the driver is a jobsworth and still kicks up a fuss, well it collapses small enough to fit into a large bag for life, so it can sit on my knee if needs must.

If you need a trolley to move your stuff then you're probably bringing far too much stuff. It's a few nights at a festival, you're not accompanying Shackleton on an Antarctic expedition.

While I can carry 2 crates of beer to train station and from drop off to campsite its a fuck load more comfortable with a trolley

If you can help it, try not to have sexual intercourse with me because I'm riddled with STIs.

I went in to check that thread because it'll be my first festival in the UK, and fortunately enough, the rules are the same - if not better - than what I'm used to in France and Belgium.

I like, especially, the "no glass" and "only solid fuel" rules, that's quite great. So, I've got questions related to these :
-If glass is forbidden, then can I take a 5l pressurised beer tank? We'll be 4 guys with one big tent and two inflatable mattresses, so we'll be able to carry more stuff than people going alone or by pairs. If not, then we'll just go for the plastic bottle option, not optimal, but still better than going without beer.

-Is it a good idea to bring military rations? The French ones are quite good, there's solid fuel in it to heat the canned meals, and there are concentrated rehydrating drinks as well ; so, I'm debating whether it is actually a good idea, or just gimmicky. Plus, if it is, we'll get to bring our big pot to cook "family sized" meals in it, and it's always a good conversation starter lol.

That's what I always do. There is some good food available in the arena, but it is very expensive, so I always try to have 2 meals a day available from my own supply.

It's OK I've read about this new thing called condoms so I should be good to go.

You can keep drugs in them too! I imagine that would make sexual intercourse rather uncomfortable but OK. I was looking for somewhere to keep my paracetamol so that's good.

That'll be fine, yes. The only question I have is whether 1 will be enough...
If it sounds good, listen to it

Do the bars in the festival take cards? And do many of the food stalls?
