Alcohol free beer?

Postby Kylan_Paassa » Sat Aug 04, 2018 1:51 pm

Does anyone have any idea if any of the bars stock alcohol free beer?
A friend is driving us down and doesn't like sugary/fizzy drinks. Wondered if anyone has seen or purchased any in previous years.
Also means not having to drink just water and missing out as such.
Ta! :D

They did get some in last year but didn't advertise it so of course no one knew about it, think it was only in VIP on the Sunday.

Like the stuff or not I think it is worth selling.

Absolutely. Its great for people who either dont drink or just want something that isnt boozy and not juice/coke/whatever else. For pregnant women and drivers too.
Bars and pubs always say its harder to make money these days but I think this is one way forward. It's a lot harder to find than you think. If everywhere had a least one option it would be great!
Hopefully its available.
I drink it quite often myself now, they used to be crap but now with things like Nanny State and Erdinger you can get that proper beer/ale taste without the booze.
I'm hopeful!

On the live Q&A last night they confirmed there would be a selection of 35-40 beers in the arena alone :o  so hopefully they'll have at least one alcohol free option among that lot!

I'm almost certain there was last year.

This year the lager is Kaltenberg and they definitely make alcohol free beer. Whether they are selling it is a different matter.
