Queensrÿche

Postby samlewis45 » Wed Aug 16, 2017 8:05 pm

Now that Queensrÿche have really embraced the metal side of their sound again over the past couple of years, it would be great to have them at the festival. They'd probably be a great 'middle of the day' Main Stage band and would appeal to those who would like to see more melodic metal back at BOA. With a new album due out next year too I imagine they will be touring quite heavily.

Would be happy with Queensryche, not seen them since the Building Empires tour in 1990.

It's a shame we don't get Tate on vocals, but they have a faif few cool tunes. I'd be happy with them around 4th or 5th top.

Haven't seen the latest line up but would be happy with them playing.

...said nobody in the last 20 years.
I've seen them twice with each singer, La Torre pisses all over Tate.

I've seen Tate both solo (or rather, with Operation Mindcrime), and singing with Avantasia and he can still hit the notes. But at this moment in time, I'd rather have La Torre singing for Queensrÿche. I've seen them with him a few times and they're outstanding. Far, far better than any Queensrÿche show with Tate for the last 15 years or more.
