Ross the Boss playing Manowar

Postby jwh20 » Tue Feb 27, 2018 12:17 pm

he's been touring a Manowar setlist with his current band and it was immense when I saw it last year. Would love to see him at a bigger occasion like bloodstock.

Never really got into Manowar, always thought they looked a bit too OTT and cheesy. However, recently I've listened to a bit of them and I have to admit they have some great tunes in their back catalogue. Could see this going down well on the Thursday night when everyone has had a few beers!

Was thinking Sophie headliner for Saturday, but that's a good shout too.

Didn't go that year, but due a comeback aye? Plus a Manowar only setlist like he's been doing would make it different too

Aren't Orphaned Land are headlining the Sophie that day?

It was pretty much a Manowar only setlist when he played in 2010, wasn't that good.

I'd enjoy a Manowar-only setlist for sure. Shame he's such an utter tool as a person.

Given it's the metal scene, and almost daily revelations I'm sure there's much, much worse people who could be playing. One of which headlined the Sophie stage last year, one of whom in the Sophie headliners for 2018 has just been booted from the band...

100% yes. His Manowar set at The Underworld was my gig of the year last year.
