Yeah I've noticed this too. I'm actually really struggling to find anything on New Blood this year. All I have noted down so far is Nomadus.

I'm really hoping they don't clash Dimmu with Sameal (which would be mental considering how similar the bands are). It will be very lean on things to watch in the daytime, if they do.

What the fuck is all this pulling out shit?!!

In Sacred Reich's case its because Phil Rind has been unwell for a while with a (not Covid) respiratory infection. Wiley Arnett was also ruled out because of an operation, although i'm not sure whether the band were originally planning on going ahead with a stand-in.

It would seem so, they already pulled out of Wacken.

Not been keeping tabs as wasn't sure I was coming but think I am now. Real shame about Scared Reich, it's a trash heavy lineup but they were the best thrash band on the bill.

#BOA22 ANNOUNCEMENT!
Friday afternoon over on the Sophie Stage, we’re bringing you a very, *very* special ‘surprise set’ from an internationally renowned band. We can’t tell you any more, so you’ll just have to make sure you're there to see who it is...

In a final bonanza of bands for 2022, we're revealing a whopping 22 more!

Unfortunately, ENFORCED, ALL HAIL THE YETI, and SACRED REICH have had to cancel, but we've been hard at work to fill their spots to round out the 2022 line-up. With the news that SACRED REICH can’t make it, the very capable face-melters Sylosis step into the breach, they’re the meat in an impressive LORNA SHORE - JINJER main stage sandwich on Saturday.

The pulverising metalcore massive Heart Of A Coward will be stepping up from the Sophie Lancaster stage to the Ronnie James Dio main stage on Friday, filling ALL HAIL THE YETI’s spot who sadly had to pull out of their Summer European run.

Opening the Sophie stage on Saturday are Planet Rock Radio’s competition winners, the hooky modern metal crew Sister Shotgun

Elder Scrolls fans Thuum will add some sludgy riffs, heavy groove, & epic melodies to the Sophie Lancaster stage on Thursday

Grab yourself a ticket at http://www.bloodstock.uk.com

Probably racist Phil bringing his Pantera tribute act over to make up for pulling out last year.

Didn't he pull out this year?

I suspect it'll just be one of a bunch of bands they've got on backup for acts pulling out but hoping to be pleasantly surprised. Anyone noteworthy on tour around then?

The Iron Maidens are at Alcatraz on the Thursday of Bloodstock, but don't have another booking the rest of that weekend
