Probably not - they've bounced between theatres and arenas on their tours, and while there's crossover with a metal crowd, alot of their fans wouldnt come to BOA

Of the Wacken bands, I hope Queensrcyhe get a slot, but they've toured here in August before and not been on the bill so not holding my breath

If BOA had to stretch themselves to get Priest there is no way they could afford Kiss

As for Body Count and Soulfly, as much of a fan I am of both bands; they'd get 4th from top slots at best

The arenas they play include The O2 and Manchester Arena. Therefore wayyyyyyyyyy too big.

Same Manchester Arena Slayer are booked into, and their crowd are likely to be more BoA friendly than Purple. Just because they're in an arena doesn't mean they fill it or it will be set up for their max capacity - seen Alice Cooper in there with the stage on the half way line.

I dunno more drunk people know the words to "Smoke on the water" than "Captor of Sin"

My problem with Slayer isn't so much of final tour(!), bang average last album or festival repeat. It`s having seen them in their prime, no amount of pyro can compete to what they were, I have the same problem with Gillan trying to sing "Fireball" if i`m honest

Looks like Dee Snider will be there next year. Someone in the Facebook Bloodstock forum just uploaded this from an interview with Dee in Fireworks Rock and Metal magazine.

The first solo record was good, the new one is outstanding and dare I say given his live performances even better in the raw
The haters should listen to the record, it may have had Jasta writing but that is one great metal album and i`d be pleased as punch if he were delivering at BOA

My advice to those who would be happy about Dee Snider playing would be to keep that snapshot AWAY from any Bloodstock related facebook groups to avoid it being spotted by or passed on to Vicky or any of the organising crew... I think it was Taake (might be wrong - might be a band with a similar name) who tried self- confirming many years ago and the deal fell through.
If it sounds good, listen to it
