Let`s hope so! I`d rather see a Bon Jovi Hologram than that dross

Seem`s to be a few people who have self- announced who didn't make the eventual line up but quite a few who did and have(?)
Was it Bio-Hazard when they played who were off and on the poster a few times, getting old cant remember

They did an online poll to decide their setlist (vote was per album, with the top song off each played if I remember right) when they played Wacken for their 30th anniversary. Could do a similar thing again.

Catching up on the q&a now, Vicky also mentioned there are bands booked that have never played BOA before :)

So I'm assuming this will be undercard? Can't imagine they'd announce another headliner in with a load of other smaller bands

Perhaps we will finally get Sacred Reich...

Although Body Count, Clutch, Helloween and Manowar have never played BOA before either... :D

As long as they clearly separated the headliner from the other bands in the announcement then I don't see why they couldn't.

Personally, I've always liked the idea of 2 bands playing longer as 'co-headliners' like they used to do a few years ago. It gives them a bigger pool of bands to pick from and in cases like last year where Priest were clearly the biggest headliner, it would allow them to spread the budget out more evenly on the rest of the lineup

Do we know of any prominent metal bands whose tours are finishing up around now?

Oh god I hope not, I liked them when I was 15 but have no interest at all in seeing them these days. I'd even take Parkway Drive over them to be honest, at least they apparently put on a good stage show. Dimmu on the other hand, I'd be very happy with them as a sub!

Looking at gig listings now, UK tours finishing by next Tuesday include:

- Crowbar
- Mammothfest - Decapitated and many others
- Raging Speedhorn
- Taake
- Voivod

Manowar also announced a Swedish date today :eyes:

Now that sounds like an interesting way of doing that concept, only problem with it would be some albums full of classics are under represented over arbitrarily including lesser tracks from another album for sake of inclusion.

I hope that includes bands booked but not actually playing, Deicide and Nails appearing on stage would be nice
