They did an online poll to decide their setlist (vote was per album, with the top song off each played if I remember right) when they played Wacken for their 30th anniversary. Could do a similar thing again.

Now that sounds like an interesting way of doing that concept, only problem with it would be some albums full of classics are under represented over arbitrarily including lesser tracks from another album for sake of inclusion.

Would be an issue with some bands who don't play regularly, but Saxon are up and down the country several times a year so plenty of opportunities to hear the classics

I hope that includes bands booked but not actually playing, Deicide and Nails appearing on stage would be nice

Now that I wouldn't argue with!

I really hope not, I can't see them getting anything other than a headline slot if they were announced. I'd probably watch them for nostalgia value (and probably enjoy it to), but still, no.

Dimmu wouldn't be announced until after their London show in December surely? As for Disturbed I'd be surprised if they did BOA over DL

I'm not convinced that Disturbed will headline; aren't they Download headline level? Come to think of it I can't think of any bands similar to Disturbed that have actually played BOA so perhaps a little too risky?

they played under Nightwish in 2016, so on that basis they wouldn't be too big

Ross the Boss finishes his little UK tour on Thursday, so there's your cheap Manowar substitute :D

I reckon it'll be 3 bands and I'll go for Dee Snider, Body Count and Voivod.

I think Crowbar will be one of the bands announced, they were great in Norwich tonight so would be happy to see them on the bill :) Vicky and Adam seemed pretty optimistic/excited about the announcement on the live stream so I've got a feeling it's gonna be a good'un!

If it doesn't involve Demons and Wizards I'll count it as a failure.

I reckon MaYaN will be announced. Not exactly box office but they're playing a couple of festivals around Bloodstock.

Surely Body Count won’t do Bloodstock? Download of course, but Ice T at Bloodstock would just be confusing.

For tomorrow, I think they’ll announce Dee Snider, Crowbar, Carcass, and as strange as it sounds, Steel Panther...

People put far too much emphasis on Ice-T's other musical ventures as a rapper when considering whether or not Body Count are suitable for Bloodstock, when in fact his vocals in Body Count don't actually include any rapping. Body Count are as much of a hardcore band as Hatebreed are imo, and they've played twice.

As much as I like both bands, comparing them to Hatebreed isn't going to go down well on here
