I guess there's no accounting for taste. Not only were Twisted Sister the best headliner Bloodstock have ever had, it wasn't even close. It was by a very large margin. I couldn't be happier to see Dee back at Bloodstock.

Maybe your definition or rapping is not the same as mine, but I'd count this. It's the same reason I don't like hardcore bands - they're basically rapping.

It's similar for sure but I wouldn't class it as rapping, no. Not when you consider how different Ice-T's solo material as a rapper is to what Body Count do. I just think people define Body Count as a rap-metal band based on who Ice-T is and the music he made as a solo artist rather than actually listening to Body Count's music as a separate entity

I've been to a lot of shows, not many festivals save BOA this time around, and I can happily say that I'd take a Dee Snider over any band from the school of "lets barely look at the crowd and crack through it" performance. Not metal I know, but Sigur Ros are great musicians - terrible live, as they run through the set and then piss off. I saw Mark Lanegan supporting at Slaine Castle, and he was the same - grimance, play, and then get off. Boring !

Agreed - Twisted Sister were fucking stunning in 2016 and if Dee Snider is half as good on his own I will be delighted.

Damn right, they were insanely good and if he brings some Mexican pizza donuts with him then he's 10/10 in my book.

I genuinely have no idea who it might be, but I'm excited to find out!

It's the Sunday headliner. Could be anyone really. Anyone know of any tours that recently finished that might fit the bill?

They were very good in 2016, but the 2010 performance was far better.

Dee Snider is great doing solo (he is Dee after all!), saw him at Graspop last year, and while not quite the TS experience, he was great all the same.

Agreed. 2010 was the first time I'd seen them, having been a fan for decades, and they blew me away. 2016 was good, but it wasn't in the same league as their first Bloodstock show.

Yeah, 2016 was emotional due to it being the send off, but 2010 was a better 'show'. Still one of my favourites.
