Dream Theater could be good, so long as they stay away from the latest shit they've produced.

Within Temptation have headlined Bloodstock twice (once Indoor, once Open Air), and given the piss-poor setlist they played last time, I'm in no rush to see them back.

I wouldn't say no to Sisters of Mercy, but I doubt a rock band that peaked in the early 90s is well suited as a headliner for a heavy metal festival.

Powerwolf headlined the Sophie stage in 2010.

They said it was "logistical issues". Presumably that means they are playing BOA instead. I hope not though, but Vicky was hyping them up on the Facebook page yesterday and she wouldn't do that if they pulled out.

So it looks like Vicky is doing an ask me anything on Instagram. Naturally someone asked for a clue regarding the final headliner to which she replied someone who hasn't played before. Looks like PD are nailed on then!

Really hope it isn't Prophets Of Rage. There are only so many times you can hear people whinging about Donald Trump before it gets tiresome. Really not what I want from a Bloodstock headliner

RATM with members of Cypress Hill and Public Enemy - not exactly what I'd want at BOA

Not sure why people suddenly think it will be Prophets of Rage - they've already announced 2 headline shows for the week after Bloodstock which I'm sure are advertised as UK exclusive headline shows.

Plus, I know there's debate about what does/doesn't constitute a "Bloodstock band" but I can't see them booking Prophets of Rage to headline

Was interesting that Vicky said yesterday that they have tried to get Clutch a couple of times, gives me slight hope we might get them one year.

Still waiting on Sacred Reich though....

For anyone faintly clinging to the hope of Helloween - she categorically ruled them out for next year. Lots of depressing bands she said she'd love to book and confirmed that Bodycount have been in her sights for some time.

Nah, they're huge, debut album went top ten in the UK. If anything they're probably too big for BOA.
