There better be something decent on in the Sophie stage that night.

So much beer !

I imagine a band like PD will shift some day tickets ? Doesn't seem like the kind of band that'd attract a four-day crowd, given the rest of the lineup ?

There better be something decent on in the Sophie stage all that day. That lineup is awful. Contender for the worst day of bands Bloodstock has ever booked so far.

Now hopefully they can announce a few more bands I like having gotten rid of the inevitable headline I don't want to see.

What a surprise  since my last comment I've listened to the Reverence album a couple more times and I gotta say, it is growing on me! Sounds a lot more groove-metal orientated than their previous stuff. Will definitely give them a go live and I think it's safe to say they are big and heavy enough to be headlining. Plenty more bands to be announced yet too.

Back under your bridge, heretic. At least Nightwish are a metal band.

Nah, it was mostly awful but At The Gates and Nightwish saved it for me. Saturday this year has literally no redeeming features at all.

Wow. Came back to say that even I couldn't imagine the downward trajectory Bloodstook took with the announcement of Machine Head in 2012 could have ended as this. Festival deserves to go bust.

One band you don't like gets announced and you want the festival to go bankrupt? Moron.

Massive over reaction, one of the best line ups I've seen here. If people don't like it that much they best stay away

What a way to take a big shit on a promising line up until now. Well we could all see it coming, listened to them for first time just now. Now I thought Trivium were bad, this shit is fuckin awful in a different league. I predict a very empty field on the Saturday night. Why do they do this...

Not my thing at all but I refuse to believe they will be worse than Trivium were in 2015!

Oh well, will see what the next announcement brings. Hopefully the Saturday Sophie stage Headliner will be more to my tastes.

Indeed, they are not to my tastes either, but this is still a great linup, with lots to look forward to!

The TROO METAL internet crying brigade is out. Sorry to tell you but music evolves. They are the heaviest band out of the three headliners on a heavy metal festival and I can bet just like Ghost they will pull a huge crowd who will love them. Give them a chance, if not go get a beer, get some food or have a kip and and wait for the headliner on the second stage. I'm not a fan of Code Orange or Evil Scarecrow but I'll find something else to watch when they're one.

I say good on Bloodstock for trying to find different headliners. Surely better than continuously rotating the same headline acts every few years.

Massive shit Sandwich from me but there is a whole lot of great bands to look forward to , although you've demoted me to a day ticket rather than a weekend now

The most damning thing is the PD announcement is a band no-one asked for and seem`s to be only for the promoters love of booking Metalcore and wanting to be Download lite

Nothing against Metalcore and I hope we continue giving bands of that ilk a slot (Although not headlining!) but I do not think it`s indicative of the overall feel of the festival
