Sunday is at risk of clashes galore for me. Womenowar will probably be playing in the changeover time between two main stage bands, so I'm probably going to have to bail a little early from whoever is on the main stage in order to get a decent spot for Womenowar!

Shame for the fans - there can't have been anything stopping them pulling out in time to allow another headliner in.

I imagine it'll be something stupid like "they wouldn't let us play at 200 decibels".

There's a tweet going around from someone supposedly linked with the back stage crew. Basically it states that Manowar wanted to soundcheck at the time Knotfest was on. You know, when there's going to be bands on that actual stage. LOL.

Hellfest apparently offered Manowar to soundcheck the day before, or the morning of the show before gates open. Manowar turned them down and pulled out of the festival.

Like I said, it's just one tweet, but it's looking like it may be legit.

If that's true, it's awful behaviour from the band. Yes, I'm sure it would have an impact on the bands scheduled, but I doubt there are many bands that couldn't make it work for the fans. I bet loads turned up just to see them.

Wow, if this is the real then the arrogance and lack of respect is overwhelming. I feel so sorry for the Manowar fans
