Ok. Slayer have a valid reason for a headline repeat. Megadeth probably won't happen for at least another year or two. Korn, despite repeated claims via this forum, are actually quite popular and would probably go down quite well as a headliner. Manson has also never played, would probably be a disaster, but is a big name and would sell tickets. I seem to recall Machine Head are on hiatus from touring festivals, so we may be safe. Rob Zombie would be well received by a large number of Bloodstock attendees.
I do appreciate there are bands in there that neither of us particularly enjoy but we can just as easily go for a beer, queue for some food, go back to the tent for a bit, enjoy the dodgems (drunken or otherwise).
I remember a forum alumni member saying "I heard Lamb of God have been booked bext year", and my response being " Nah, they'll never book a band like that at Bloodstock". Then they were announced. Then I thought about it. Yeah, they're metal so they do have a place here. Then the following year when they took to the stage I did something else and did something else. I think I emptied my bladder, bought another beer and visited another stage. Might have even starting chatting utter bollocks to a randomer. All I remember is that I found something else to do instead of watching a band I don't enjoy.
Plus it's getting rather difficult to find bands of that size who have not played.
If it sounds good, listen to it
