I would love:
Skid Row
Behemoth
Sick Of It All
Vader
Pro Pain
Misery Loves Co.
Pain
Wildhearts (I know, but just let em on every year, just like he said!)
Fear Factory
Insomnium
Decapitated
Amorphis
Moonspell
... and add in a few bands I have no interest in so I can take a nap. Thinking Bong Cauldron or whatever dire doom drudge metal bands the kids are listening to these days.

Not bands I want to see but I am expecting both Killswitch and Hatebreed, would be very surprised if we don't get Hatebreed.

I'm also expecting Hatebreed. Probably Dimmu and Code Orange as well.

Have they announced anywhere where the bands they have booked are going to be placed? Violence are above Skindred, who were third down last time so are they special guests? Sacred Reich are on a par with them on the announcement - are they special guests too, or third down?

I doubt it, I can see both SR and Vio-Lence being mid main or Sophie headliners. Wouldn't read much into it at all

Since the Volbeat tour was relentlessly advertised on the mainstage screens I'm quite confident that they'll be headlining. At BOA18 one of the non-BOA merch stalls had a lot of Parkway Drive branding very visible from a fair distance away which got me worried they'd headline in 2019, and sadly I was proved to be correct.

I reckon the headliners for 2020 will come from the following selection:

Volbeat
Saxon
Killswitch Engage
Amon Amarth
Devin Townsend

My predictions are now...

Friday:
Behemoth
Mercyful Fate (special guests)

Saturday:
Volbeat
Clutch (special guests)

Sunday:
Judas Priest
Saxon (special guests)

Do you really think Judas Priest would headline twice in three years? I think that's extremely unlikely.

They said the first headliner is coming in September - any tours finishing around then? When is the Volbeat tour?

The Volbeat tour finishes at the end of September.

Volbeat tour is late September, not sure if it extends into October but I'd put money on it being them. Judas Priest wouldn't be announced until after the Ozzy tour I imagine.

I know it would be quite soon for them to return, but I can't see it going down badly if they did. Plus they're the only "classic" band to be announced for Wacken so far so I'm just going off that!

Mercyful Fate are also a classic band.

Rather than would BOA book JP 2 times in 3 years I think it's more a case of I can't see JP choosing to play BOA 2 times in 3 years. Think they'll do their own shows or DL if they're to do anymore UK dates after the Ozzy gigs next year.

Judas Priest would certainly go down well again but twice in three years is extremely unlikely. As Houston mentioned Download or their own shows are far more likely. It's been a few years since they've played their own concerts in the UK. I don't understand why they're wasting their time with Ozzy when a band their age should be headlining their own shows even if they're not massive venues. There are other festivals which might want to book Judas Priest too, such as Ramblin Man or Stone Free if it returns.

I`d certainly be up for JP again, as long as it`s "Electric Eye" "Victim of changes" and all the other stuff they didn't play, really dont want Midnight/Another thing coming again
Do not think will happen though

Really depends if they are going the way of the `Classic Sunday headliner` next year, I mean options are running somewhat scarce- Whitesnake? Rainbow? Think double headliner of Mercyful Fate/Saxon perhaps?
Personally I`d love ZZ Top although someone will say better for Ramblin Man, as I`d say better for Download Fest all that Metalcore(!) Good enough to headline the MOR and we all know at least three songs or more from them
