Really can't complain about the replacements to either cancellations - considering I was expecting just a New Blood band being pushed up, they seem to have solid replacements. In fact, for me, both Wildhearts and Batushka are upgrades (although in Code Orange's case, a dead dog onstage for 40 minutes would have been an upgrade). Batushka aren't going to be as good as they used to be, especially not outdoors in daylight, but should be worth a watch.
BANDS I LIKE FOR BLOODSTOCK!!!

Or Even Blaze Bayley(!)

I quite enjoy this version of Queensryche but losing a SG and bumping another up isn't very good
Sure it`s two days before but a better contingency plan next time?

I was thinking the same thing. Do people really expect Bloodstock to have bands of every sub-genre on stand by in case someone cancels

Code Orange cancel and we get a better replacement.
Dimmu Borgir cancel and we get a worse replacement.

Yeah I`m sure Evile or Evil Scarecrow leave their phones near just for those lower bill cancellations

If you have the chance of a SG slot at Bloodstock in front of a packed crowd of Metalheads which could massively raise your band profile in this Country or to stay at home wanking, what would you do?

Wait ......dont answer that !

It would have been better to not book a replacement than book Faketushka. By booking them Bloodstock are aiding and abetting essentially the theft of intellectual property.

Not to BOA to decide the IP rights based on a few news stories so not aiding and abetting anything - they wanted a band, band was available. Its happened many times before (Kyuss, Saxon, Queensryche..) and will happen again. If you've picked your side, don't watch..

From the crowd reaction and size Dee really should've been bumped up to SG, he was superb.
