Great announcement personally. Enjoy Basement torture killings and Crepitation. Looking good!

Disappointing for me, nothing much interesting. Final Sophie bands apparently - so why are there two less slots on the Saturday?

I wasn't expecting a lot of bands I've heard of before because I'm not from England. And I'm happy to find there's 3 bands I can add to my list of want to check out because I'm impressed with what I just heard online.

Ah cool, mother vulture sound good. I shall have to check the other 2 out

same here, have added those 3 bands to my watch list too, definitely Inhuman Nature.
Takes my list to about 40, 10 more than Download

Just had a look at the Download line-up, 15 I'd want to watch without investigating unknowns, BOA currently on 16

Well you have more bands to see than I have. The irony is that of the 14 I would actually watch at Bloodstock 3 of them arn't even metal bands (Ferocious Dog - Excellent live and Discharge and Killing Joke for old times sake). Compare this to Manor Fest (where there are virtually no bands I would chose not to listen to) and the new Dominion Festival and it looks like Bloodstock has booked a lightweight and rather poor line up this year

Static-X have cancelled all EU tour dates including Bloodstock.

Surely Avatar should be bumped up to headline Sophie if schedules allow, they're shockingly low atm.

So any word on when the next announcement will be?

As the two main stages are full (barring Static-X's replacement) it'll be when the M2TM finals get going so the first batch will probably be end of May, suspect they'll announce other things in the meantime though to try and keep momentum going, Gaming Arena etc
