Ticket Resale

Am I missing something or is the ticket resale system pointless?
There's currently a load of Early Bird Weekend tickets listed for £142 (face value £135) because that's how much the seller paid to begin with, fair enough. But if you go to buy on there's a £14 resale fee bringing the total up to £156. You can buy the normal tickets for £152
Wouldn't it make more sense for the resale fee to be paid by the seller?
