Seconded - who wouldn't love a good long Saxon playing the hits set !

Even the arms-folded-fest black metal fans will sing-along to 'Princess of the Night' or 'Rock the Nations' :lol:

True - the classics always get 'em in the end. I have a friend who attends Bloodstock who is into the crustiest, most un-listenable black metal I've ever heard but when Dee Snider said jump, she jumped!

Saxon are always good fun, not seen a bad set from them and it is quite a while since they last played.

Always happy to see Saxon. Never really change up what they do but at least that means you're always guaranteed a good set. With the way the festival has grown I'd say 3rd from top would be the best slot for them
