Turisas

Postby varangian » Wed Sep 11, 2019 2:24 pm

New album due in 2020, Folk Metal went down well on a Sunday headlining the Sophie in 2019 so why not again?

Last night of BOA with a touch of Rasputin and Battle Metal?

As long as it's not the Sunday Sophie headliner slot (we normally head home then), then a big yes from me. Thursday would seem logical to me.

Don't hold out much hope for a new album to be honest, they've been 'hoping to release the new album next year' for about 4 years now! Regardless, they're always great live so would definitely be up for them being added

I'm busting to see Turisas, also I can imagine how much fun it would be to see Rasputin would be live. :D

They were great fun at Wacken Winter Nights earlier this year, they'd make an excellent Sophie headliner for sure.

Really wouldn't get your hopes up on that, I remember seeing them back in '16 and they promised it would be out by the end of the year

Rasputin after a few beverages in the tent on Thursday night would be a hoot. x

Remember seeing them in 2009 and also seem to remember them saying they would be back the following year :? ... so yes, Turisas would be amazing to see again

Never seen them but would love to, any night Sophie headline spot would be great.
