2020 tickets for 2021

Postby Roy » Sun Jun 13, 2021 1:29 am

Can anybody please confirm that we are using our 2020 tickets for this year or should we be expecting new tickets?

We were probably told when we rolled over but we're starting to get excited now that it looks like it will really happen and would hate to get turned away on the day!

The festival will be 5 days and start from Wednesday, as opposed to Thursday; the dates for 2021’s event will be 11th - 15th August. This will be at no extra cost to those who have already purchased weekend tickets for 2020 and wish to roll them over

Thanks but I was looking for confirmation of whether we were actually getting 2021 tickets or using our 2020 tickets. I assumed we would get new ones to avoid any confusion with people trying to use cancelled 2020 tickets but we've usually had them quite early in the past.
Mainly checking as I can't find my order on Seetickets even though I have the physical 2020 tickets and rolled over. I would hate to turn up and not be allowed in!

I assume cancelled tickets would have their barcode voided, and uncancelled ones will be able to be used in 2021.

Well, they haven't been cancelled... so that doesn't apply.

If you bought and received 2020 tickets, those are rolled over for 2021. If you have not received a ticket, I imagine they'll send out 2021 versions once they know the event can take place.

Not sure if those who opted for refunds needed to return their ticket(s) in order for the refund to be authorised. I assume so, otherwise telling the difference between a valid ticket and one that has been refunded would be impossible at a glance, making dodgy resellers able to 'refund' and resell their tickets, and depending on what checks are implemented at the gates potentially innocent resold ticket buyers may find themselves refused entry.

Would be nice to get confirmation on the ticket situation, one way or the other.
