Judging by the lineup on the website it looks like they'll be playing under Vio-Lence, so unless Vio-Lence are special guest (which is highly unlikely, and would've been announced at the time) Skindred have actually been knocked down a slot and will be 4th from top at best next year
The order of the website looks wrong, tbh. I can't see Dark Tranquility being beneath Butcher Babies tbh.

Too early to tell yet, wouldn't read anything into any of the placements for a while.
If they do get Skindred to play further down than they warrant then that's a good business move.
Apologise for changing the subject entirely but I just noticed that Deicide have been announced for Gelfe Metal Festival next year. What do you reckon are the chances of them playing Bloodstock? If memory serves me they were booked some years back, cancelled (predictably) and haven't been back since, would be a good booking in my mind, provided they play of course.

Totally, I would understand also but would be a nice addition considering they were supposed to play a few years back.

Fair play to them, got a lot of respect for bands who aren’t total fucking divas about placement (Black Metal aside, as it ruins all atmosphere which is part of the package)
Still not seen Skindred, but I used to love them when I was in school.

Volbeat it is then. Their last UK show is in Manchester on Tuesday October 1st, but a day or two shouldn't matter.
The Sisters of Mercy's two London shows are this weekend..

Sisters of Mercy and/or Devin Townsend would be good announcements for me, but as I've said before, I doubt a Rock band that peaked in the late 80s/early 90s and hasn't released anything new since is hardly headliner material.
