Next Announcement
Re: Next Announcement
Everyone should check out Green Lung. Fantastic band who put on an energetic live performance.
I see the bad moon arising.
Re: Next Announcement
There are a couple there that I'd check out but still nothing to convince me to get a ticket. Can't see myself attending next year unfortunately

Re: Next Announcement
Happy with Memoriam & Cattle Decapitation is a good booking (even if not really my thing), not heard of the rest whatsoever

Re: Next Announcement
Very underwhelming. Now Bloodywood might be good (I havent listened to them, so this is nothing against them), but looking at their tour dates they are tiny and it smacks of a gimmick booking because they are from India

From Wikipedia:
"Bloodywood is an Indian metal band from New Delhi, formed in 2016. They began as a parody band that uploaded metal covers of pop songs on YouTube, but later went on to write their own original material."
Sounds like headline material to me

Listened to them not long ago because they did a uk tour. Not my thing at all but they seem to be fairly popular based on venues they were playing.

I'd say just Priest. Devin is an underwhelming headliner anyway and now we've been treated this bargain bin announcement. Still no Mercyful Fate

Re: Next Announcement
MMMmmmmmm, quite an uninspiring announcement today, it looks like I won't be attending next year (the first time for many years), the only draw for me at the mo is Judas Priest and Gloryhammer.

Re: Next Announcement
Do they even care anymore?
Re: Next Announcement
Great announcement imo, Cattle Decap are the biggest Death Metal band going, Green Lung are the biggest metal band to come out of the UK in years and Memoriam are a solid booking too. Still going unless they book MF but very solid announcement today.

That comment can be read very diffferently than what was meant.

Was also thinking that, I pay attention to new bands, and I've literally never heard of them.
Listening they sound like Biohazard, with the gimmick of having Indian instruments and singing on the choruses. Sounds proper shit
Re: Next Announcement
Bloodywood are good fun and I like them. Wouldn't have thought they were big enough as Sophie headliners though.
Maybe the budget has been spent as mentioned

Citation needed. They're good, but really?
