Re: Next Announcement
The big question is, I presume Wednesday will be like the old Thursday. But will Thursday be a full day with main stage etc? The poster has Devin and Priest as headliners with just one space for Headliner TBC. Which suggests still three headliners. If both Wednesday and Thursday are only second stage, that’s not much extra to be honest
Re: Next Announcement
Where's the poster?
Re: Next Announcement
Oh it's everywhere, Twitter etc, ooops.

Re: Next Announcement
Even with the expansion to 5 days, there was so little I actually wanted to watch outside of the Priest day that I'd still rather get a refund now and a day ticket next year.
As the price is only increasing by £10, if I change my mind and decide to get a weekend ticket after all, I've only lost a tenner + fees which is a gamble I'm willing to take.
And if all we're getting is Weds & Thurs as two part-days of second stage bands, I can't see that changing my mind very much.
Personal taste in music aside though, well done to Bloodstock for what they've done here. Yet another festival showing those charlatans at HRH how customer service should be handled.

Re: Next Announcement
A reply on the Facebook post confirms the extra day is just Sophie Stage, Jager and New Blood. No main stage.

Tbh, that makes sense with them only putting up the cost by £10.

Doesn't come as a surprise, just hoping the bands on Thursday will be to my taste.
Something really popular could see a massive overflow from the Sophie tent.

Maybe they can actually get Mercyful Fate this time

I reckon they'll get Parkway Drive to replace Behemoth.

Re: Next Announcement
Mercyful Fate as the missing headliner would be sweet. Would be quite happy them being SG to Devin and pushing Skindred down a slot mind

Re: Next Announcement
Helloween pumpkins reunited would be great as a replacement, plus glad Hatebreed are not playing.

Now that would be boring.

Re: Next Announcement
Gutting news but inevitable of course
Bloodstock has played a boss move though by adding an extra day alongside opening the Sophie, New Blood and Jager stages all day on the Thursday! With most of this year's bands already confirmed for next year, rolling my early bird ticket forward is a no brainer really.
Just praying Idle Hands get back on the bill for next year!

Re: Next Announcement
Still don't think MF are big enough for a headliner - if they can't re-book Behemoth (who may have already been booked for 2021 festivals) I reckon it'll be Trivium..
