Still don't think MF are big enough for a headliner - if they can't re-book Behemoth (who may have already been booked for 2021 festivals) I reckon it'll be Trivium..

I would say MF are special guest slot level but then again so are Behemoth imo.

As for Trivium, whilst I actually prefer their musical output since "In Waves" the rock & metal world at large doesn't seem to agree. They don't exactly get much buzz or media attention compared to the mid-00's and their headline slot last time bombed. It was the smallest headline crowd I'd seen in my 10 years of going to BOA - it was frankly embarrassing.

100% this, if we're working on the assumption that they've lost money this year they're gonna need a 3rd headliner that will shift tickets. Trivium is certainly not the answer to that.

Very disappointed they are continuing with this abortion of a lineup, but I'm at least happy they've lost a few bands (yay, no Hatebreed). I imagine they already had a headliner booked, hopefully it'll be someone actually decent. I have a feeling the extra Wednesday (and early Thursday) bands will be throwaway crap if I'm honest, and we definitely aren't going to have many announcements to look forward to over the next year.

Only Bossk cut from the bands I wanted to see and Hatebreed's replacement should be an improvement. An extra day sounds good for us folk who don't live in places with chance to see smaller bands all year too.

I'll be there, assuming we're freed from lockdown by then.

Anyone else notice Paradise Lost is no longer "Draconian Times in full" on the poster? That's an improvement for me if that's the case

No because it will be Hatebreed. Much as I'd like Bossk, I expect them to play Arctangent next year now instead.

Behemoth and idle hands where two good ones. Ouch. I felt that, bar the Sunday, it was a v weak lineup, so I'm hoping it gets beefed up a bit more for 2021

I think it's only bands that definitely can confirm have remained. The remainder I would guess are not sure what 2021 holds so didn't absolutely confirm. I hope Behemoth make it back.

I do wonder if the presence of Judas Priest means a lot of cheaper (not great) bands.

Someone asked about Behemoth and Hatebreed... Bloodstock confirm behemoth are a no but never said anything about Hatebreed. To me, they're either negotiating or switching stages and they'll announce it...
