This is the first time I've actually wanted to watch all three headliners, buzzing!

MF I have zero desire to see (KD's voice sets my teeth on edge, can't stand it) but I am happy about Dimmu.

So that's Priest as the only headliner I'll be watching.

Chuffed to bits to get Mercyful Fate. Can't wait to see the King back at Bloodstock. I am really surprised by how many people seem to be uninterested in one of metal's true pioneers?

Wow

This is unreal, I felt for sure it would be some mainstream band.

Great announcement!!!

Having just looked at the lineup and thought a bit more about it, we realised we were only going on the Sunday as it was the best day of a bad bunch.

Given that we'll be seeing Judas Priest elsewhere next year and we've both seen Saxon countless times, we're gonna go with the money-saving option of just getting a Saturday day ticket now. The first half of Saturday is still garbage but PL - Dimmu - MF is a hell of a way to end the night.

Doubt it, they aren't a big band in the scheme of things.

Fair play to Bloodstock for getting them, I didn't think there was a chance they would, far better than crap like Down! I much prefer King Diamond's solo stuff, but I'm still super happy with this announcement, I may actually go now
BANDS I LIKE FOR BLOODSTOCK!!!

Just bought my first BOA ticket in 6 years, the way this year was unfolding I never would have guessed I'd end up heading along, but Mercyful Fate replacing Behemoth turns this from a mediocre lineup to one of the best in years! Just wish Idle Hands were still playing.

That comment can be read very diffferently than what was meant.

has there been any confrmation on if pl are still doing draconian ? , as as much as i love the album and it was one of my gateway albums i feel a normal set with stuff of obsidian would go perfectly with the run of pl dimmu and mf

Nah they'll just open another field if needed, BOA run well under the max capacity for Catton Park and I'm sure if they need a bigger licence they'll move to secure one in plenty of time.

The mention of Draconian Times was dropped from the poster when this year's fest was cancelled so I don't think they're doing it anymore, certainly not seen it mentioned as such a set since.

Quite interested in going now they've booked Mercyful Fate, particularly seeing as how they seem to have dropped off the Wacken line up for 2021 (which I have a ticket for). There are at least three main stage bands each day I'm interested in seeing at BOA this year (Fri: Dark Tranquillity, Sacred Reich, Acid Reign Sat: Mercyful Fate, Vio-lence, Dimmu Borgir Sun: Priest, Saxon, Gloryhammer).

Happy with Dimmu. However, I'd rather listen to nails down a chalkboard than KD "singing", so I'll give MF a wide berth.
