No rumours out there?

Or does anyone even use the forum anymore? Where would the latest news be announced, twitter, Facebook?

I mean it is over a year away, it'll be a while before we hear anything

Think we are all lurking in the background

Obviously it is very hard for the organisers to either keep or re-build momentum for the event in 2021
Even now none of us know where things are going with pubs let alone outdoor festivals, hard to plan for
fingers X`d

Very true, I'm just inpatient I guess. Like everyone I can't wait to go to a gig

Megadeth, Lamb of God and Trivium certainly won't be filling up the empty headline slot as their massive North American tour has been rescheduled for next year and runs throughout August.

Pity. I like lamb of god. They put on a free show at the House of Vans in Chicago in February and a lot of it is on you tube. They are certainly on form

I think the forum will struggle over the coming year, as there is very little to announce or even predict now, and that was what created the minor buz on here. However, all social media will be in the same boat. When something is announced I'll put my opinion on it - for what it's worth.

As for the headliner, how could anyone predict? It's all up in the air, with the virus and all.

Rotting Christ are on the virtual fest. I'm in! I shall buy a slab or 4 of hoblin goblin IPA and watch from the garden on my laptop.

Its gonna be a fucking weird year getting barely any festival announcements to get excited for since most fests 90% of the line up is rolled over

Can someone explain the virtual fest to me cos I haven't bothered to read about it....is it old sets at festivals being streamed, or new sets they've recorded in lockdown or are playing live? Also do you have to pay to watch it?

New sets recorded for the video thing it seems, no idea if they've had an audience or not.

New sets, not sure if its a live stream or recording sets but suspect its recorded due to all the bands being spread out everywhere.

Tickets go on sale on Friday for €6.66

Mix of old & new, Sabaton's 2019 BOA headline show and Avatar's 2019 Alcatraz show have been added, I'm actually tempted now.

The recycled sets put me off.
