also josh (sylosis) is architects guitarist so one memember gonna be there on sat

ngl id love this , they have a special place in my heart and seeing them evevated to this level would be amazing....the reality is people would moan but nihilist would be the heaviest song played on the main stage all weekend

they arent that core and imo never really have been , always seen them as more of a djent/prog band.

plus if you dont cry reading all the lyrics ect behind all our gods have abandoned us you are not human, thats just the facts

I've been into Prog for years and they've always been more on the fringes because as far as Prog goes it's still pretty generic, most Prog fans I've seen don't really talk about Architects all that much.

If we're just throwing names out:
Disturbed (DOWN with the sickness after all)
Babymetal (maybe why they weren't rebooked for Download)
Manowar (allegedly playing festivals, before they decide they can't be bothered)

I'd take any of those bands over most of the bands mentioned. But lets face it, we all know it's going to be Down. Doesn't matter how much we hope otherwise.
BANDS I LIKE FOR BLOODSTOCK!!!

Another long shot if it's not MF or the obvious Down would be Danzig, he's playing Lucifuge in full at Psycho Las Vegas next year and honestly I'd love to see that!

Would love Manowar but can't see them being able to afford them and Priest.

Well that's possibly the best headliner Bloodstock have ever had, and makes a hideous line up quite bearable. Dimmu in special guest slot is a proper cop out though, they ain't big enough for that slot these days, and having been releasing tripe for the last 2 decades.

I'm still going to Brutal Assault instead, they haven't confirmed there 2021 line up yet, but MF were supposed to be there this year, and I imagine this means they'll be reconfirmed for next year, presumably on the Thursday at BA.

It's nice to see some positivity here. I don't care for Mercyful Fate at all so definitely won't be going to Bloodstock 2021 in any capacity. I'm glad some of you guys are happy though.
