Devin is talking about festivals as the 2nd part of the Empath tour, with heavier/SYL material

Priest I have a strong feeling about ! If not then KK/Ripper/Ellefson/Ross/Binks could be elsewhere on the bill.

Bob Zombie ? Caveleras ?

Machine Head don't do festivals anymore, Flynn has said he doesn't like them and prefers to do his own shows (also why MH don't have opening acts).

Cavelera's, I think Max tends to focus on his other bands during the summer and wheels out the Cavelera's tour in the winter; could change though.

The other one's are possibilities, not seen anything that could link them to BOA though.

Not seen them mentioned much for 2020 but Opeth have to be a strong shout for a SG slot as 2015 was their last appearance.

True, got a European tour coming up so could be announced after that. Played DL last year as well which makes them unlikely to play again this year. Be a bit underwhelmed though, they were ok last time but their prog material really breaks the flow building up into a headliner.

Not to mention they haven't released anything good in over a decade.

So guesses are for Devin, Priest and Volbeat as headliners, with mercyful fate and opeth as subs? I don't like Volbeat or Opeth but I'd take that. No doubt it won't be that good though.

I'd take that too, provided Devin & Opeth were on the same day - I could do with one early night

I'd take that, can't stand Volbeat but they're worth it if it means getting Fate. my thoughts on the announcement today are that I'm wanting Preist and Fate, expecting Volbeat and Fate but ultimately will end up with Volbeat and Amon Amarth.

It's a bit underwhelming, isn't it ? nothing to really froth about, nothing to really jump and spend money about ?

Devin - Unless there's a decent Sophie headliner on the Friday it looks like we'll be heading back for an early night - just never 'got' his solo stuff

Jinjer - not familiar with them but am aware there's a lot of hype around them at the moment so will give them a listen

Gloryhammer - Eurgh. On one hand, it's nice to see the festival haven't forgotten about power metal bands but there's many better ones they could have booked (hopefully they still will and we're not stuck with these bellends as the token PM band).

I'm happy with it, only seen Devin once and I didn't really know his stuff then and since I've got really into him so it'll be great to see a headline show. Gloryhammer are a bit of fun too, Jinjer is the only bad bit of the announcement for me.

Right load of old wank. Devin heading? No fucking thanks, does absolutely nothing for me, and I've never understood why anyone likes his stuff.

Jinjer are bloody atrocious.

Love Gloryhammer, but I'll see them do a much better headline slot in a few weeks.

Brutal Assault is still the place for me!

Love Devin to bits, but his recent albums have been a little too overblown for me. Always love seeing him though. The other two bands I don't really love or hate, might watch, might not.
Still need Fate to be announced to make me wanna go.
