I felt like topping myself at 5pm yesterday. Worst game of football I've ever seen and our fans spent most of the game fighting amongst ourselves. We are a team divided and a team in freefall. I'm not 100% sure a new manager can arrest the slide.

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
Chelsea are a joke now. Roman is freaking mental, and Cole/Terry/Frank/Drogba are a cancer on the club. They always wanted this, and they refuse to just fuck off, despite only one of them being the needed top-level quality in this day and age. Until they are gone, Chelsea are going to remain slugs.
Also Drogba puts a voodoo curse on each striker that comes to Chelsea, such is his jealousy.

Re: The (Un) Official Football thread
So Liverpool are now comfortable above Everton. Arsenal are near to overtaking Spurs. And United are back above City.
It's nice to see football is making sense again.

It's not making too much sense, Tranmere have come from behind to win for the first time since 2008.

As a child of the 80's, football will only make sense again once Man Utd are finishing at least 10 points (and usually a lot more) behind Liverpool again

We were lucky to get a point today. Foster almost single handedly kept us in it but anyone other than Wigan would have done us for six or seven. Shorey, Ridgewell and surprisingly Mulumbu were particularly poor.
