A friend just rung up out of the blue and asked if I had anyone to go to the hospital with me for my referral, and said as it's her day off work she'll come with me, even though it's quite a way out of her way for just a half an hour appointment, and then I have to go back to work.

Really good GNR Tribute (The Guns 'n' Roses Experience) at the Greyhound last night. Great atmosphere too - it was full to capacity.
I had more fun than when I saw Axl's current line-up and it was free...and they sell real ale at normal pub prices, which you wouldn't get at a real GNR gig.

Fucking quality weekend in Lancaster. Slander, Solstice, Amulet and Asomvel in particular were awesome. Pretty sure I drank like all the beers as well. And watched a ton of Magnum PI.
