Five episodes into Season 2 of Cougar Town.
Getting better with every episode and loving the piss-takes on the opening credits.

SPOILERS AHOY
I agree, the more overt and explicit visualisation of the Loras/Renly/Margaery triangle was much better than the indirect faff in the book. Good old HBO! One thing I really didn't get in this episode was Sansa's treatment of Shae. Was it ever suggested in the book that Sansa was such a bitch?
i don't think it's her being a "bitch" so much as she is being continually emotionally abused (and implied physically, at least at this point) and Shae as her attendant means it's the only thing she has control over.
i mean, if you were 13 and being emotionally abused in that way you'd probably want to lash out at the only person that you could lash out at.
i think it's rather unfair to call her a bitch for it.

i still haven't watched community because inspector spacetime just straight-up irritates me and it was in the first two minutes. it was funny at first but i feel they've run the joke into the ground.

It moves away from Inspector Spacetime pretty quickly with a small revisit at the end.

oh good. because when it has fake accents and references to doctor who every two seconds i can't bring myself to care. which is a shame considering i've loved community through each season but inspector spacetime is the only running joke i can't stand.
Re: TV: Current and Recent
Inspector Spacetime stuff literally lasts from 2:51 to 3:35ish.
It's just a set up to run with the rest of the episode, which is genuinely one of the best of the entire series.

that's fourty seconds too many and enough to make me sigh and turn it off and put something else on to watch first

Re: TV: Current and Recent
I gave it a go when it first started. I have no idea how it progressed (it ran for six seasons so I can only assume it got better) but the first season was nowhere near as funny as it thought it was.
