Lots of laughs from this weeks Community.
No episodes of HIMYM (can't say I'm too bothered) or Modern Family (Boooooo!) this week.
Game of Thrones suddenly became a lot easier to follow. Plus WTF?
Watched the penultimate episode of Season 5 of The Sopranos the other night. Fuck me, that was good!

Re: TV: Current and Recent
HIMYM is really starting to piss me off with the gaps. I'm finding myself waiting 2+ weeks for an episode of purely filler that adds absolutely nothing to the story.
I don't want to give up on it, because when it's good it's really entertaining, but it's no longer the show that I tell people is amazing and that they should definitely be watching (Community and Cougar Town currently hold that status).

New South Park is probably one of the best as of late.

The wife loves Cougar Town as much as, if not more than me. Over halfway through Season 2 now.
Michael Ironside in Community.
Oh, and as much as I love Game of Thrones, The Borgias is so very much better.
Outfuckingstanding.
Re: TV: Current and Recent
So I got American Dad volume 6 as im pretty behind on that right now. The first half didn't really grab me, but that could be because id seen that before and it wasn't that funny, the second half was fantastic. This has really reminded me why i like Roger so much, and the alien parody in great space roaster had me in stitches. the second half seemed to have a lot more Roger in it which involved more knob, vagina and alien jokes and general stupidity. Will have to get volume 7 when its out in a few weeks.

the first episode of dexter season 5 is rubbish. so after 2 failed attempts to get past it i skipped it and loved the rest of the series. so many tense moments throughout and i loved the idea of going after a group of people instead of just one main serial killer.

Yeah the first episode was a bit naff. I loved the season overall. Only one I didn't like was season 3 tbh.

Season 5 is the weakest, I reckon.
4, 1, 2, 3, 6, 5.

Seriously?
I thought 3 was piss.
It'd be like 1, 4, 2, 6, 5, 3 for me.

Re: TV: Current and Recent
I didn't like Smits at first but he got better as the season went along, plus he's better than a naff rape storyline, and a series with a Fisher Price My First Twist.
Re: TV: Current and Recent
Season 3-5 of dexter are pretty week. They seemed to focus on the whole 'I want a friend' thing too much and it just got repetitive. Season 6 is the best theyve written since season 1 so far. It really resembles the books more now and its darker twists and story are bringing this back.
